CAMEO action code
Original source code remains intact.
TAXONOMY GRAPH / blackdeck-taxonomy-2.0
Blackdeck preserves the original CAMEO action code, then adds independent many-to-many relationships for event type, transmission mechanism, exposed asset and effect dimension. This is a graph, not a single category tree.
OBJECT GRAPH
Arrows mean an eligible relationship can exist. They do not mean every event traverses every branch.

WHY MANY-TO-MANY
A source story may encode more than one CAMEO action, so protest, coercion and conflict dimensions can coexist.
An event can combine access restriction, labor disruption and asset damage. The mechanism is what connects an event to a business pathway.
Shipping, crude oil and semiconductors are not children of an event category. They are targets linked only when compatible mechanisms and evidence exist.
The new impact model expresses conditional pressure on availability, lead time, cost and price. Observed physical loss remains a separate measurement.
REFERENCE OBJECTS
The taxonomy is versioned. A future taxonomy expansion should add objects and relationships to the reference model rather than create one database table per category.
